What is evee?
evee is Australia’s only electric car sharing website. Renters can hire an electric vehicle (EV) directly from owners across the country, allowing more people to experience the joy of driving electric. Whether you’re looking to take a Tesla out for the day, go on an EV adventure over a weekend, or make your whole roadtrip holiday electric, now everyone can stay ahead of the curve by getting behind the wheel.
How do travel vouchers work?
After buying a travel voucher you will be issued a unique code. At checkout, add the travel voucher code into the gift card / coupon field and the value of the voucher will be applied. If your first booking is less than the value of your voucher, you will be able to use the balance on another booking.
Are travel vouchers sent electronically?
Yes, as we love the environment! evee travel vouchers are delivered via email.
Do I have to use the travel vouchers all at once?
The value of your evee travel voucher can be used across multiple bookings. So if your first booking is less than the value of your voucher, you will be able to use the balance on another booking. Simply use the same unique voucher code to take advantage of your remaining balance. If your booking is more than the value of your travel voucher, you can just pay the difference on a credit card of your choosing.
Will the voucher recipient shown how electric vehicles work?
If this is your first time renting an electric vehicle, you can let the host know in advance. This way the host may be able to spend additional time during the handover to walk you through how everything works.
How long is the travel voucher valid for?
All vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. Only one voucher or discount coupon code can be applied per booking.
Is insurance included?
All vehicles you rent through evee have insurance included in the rental price with variable damage liability depending on the vehicle type. You can optionally choose to add on RentalCover to cover the damage liability if you have an accident. RentalCover also protects you for things such as minor parking damage, wheel scrapes and windscreen damage or replacement. This can be purchased separately any time before the start of your rental. This is insurance organised by evee through a referral program with Rental Cover. This policy is not associated with any other policy of insurance.
Where will the voucher recipient pick up the car?
The host will provide you with exact location details after booking. Most of the time this would be at their home or workplace, sometimes a public car park. Some vehicles can be delivered to you at an extra cost.
